On-line home appraisal applications (like zillow, for example) are extremely inaccurate. I don’t know why they even put those things on the internet. The only way to get an accurate appraisal is to have an appraiser come out and inspect the property, run comps, and adjust the value of your property based on the comps and how they differ from your property. It’s also the only appraisal that any financial institution will accept.
